Whew! Hello, readers!

Have not been updating for soooo long! Been really busy working. First at the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) and now at Sengkang CC. Have learnt a whole lot of things and gained some experience. But, I must say, I still miss my colleagues at This Fashion. It was my first job; it was a tiring one, but the colleagues were really friendly. Period. If not for my aching feet and the preparation for my Grade 8 exam that time, I would have stayed on much longer.

Chatted with Desheng for a very long time a few days back. I take my hat off to him; he talked about matter-of-fact stuff in a really hilarious way ! That's so difficult to do, cos usually you'll get all emo when you talk about this kind of thing. And he kept saying that he's so lousy. Come on, Desheng. You know you're not.

And today, I ran into Li ling! She was at Compass Point, basement level selling perfumes. I had just finished lunch at Yoshinoya and was exploring the basement when I saw her sitting next to her perfume stall. She looked REALLY SIANJIPUA! And she was full of complaints about her current job when I stopped to chat. Really thankful that my ears were of some help today:)

Well, all in all, that's that. My only wish for this holiday is to spend more time, yes, more precious time with my PRECIOUS FRIENDS! Look out for me soon!

Just took a personality test a few days back. And I'm so elated that I'm an INTJ ( Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Judging )! Kinda addicted to this 16 personality type thingy cos I kept reading the stuff it's got to say about me being an INTJ, and how to improve my life sort of thing.

They say that INTJs make up about less that one-percent of the population, excel in school, are natural leaders but not eager to lead, quick mental thinking, supreme strategists, nada nada. Haha. I'll bet they say something mind blowing about every personality type la.

But what I really disagree with is the career options recommended for INTJs. I'm fit to be a scientist, lawyer, researcher...?!! Researcher maybe, but definitely not a scientist! No passion for the sciences. Gone case.

Bixia sent me something on msn. Can't copy and paste here, but I can so absolutely remember it. According to her source, an INTJ is cold through and through. On the outside, and on the inside. Is it? I don't think that's true of me lah, just that nobody understands me well enough. (Oh and by the way, INTJs are extremely difficult to understand because they don't express themselves frequently)

So what's your personality type? You can do the test here or if you find some other better tests to do, go ahead.

PS And if you don't mind, if you don't mind people knowing what kind of combination of letters you jackpot-ed, please tell me hor because I very kay-poh one.

Goodday.

Have you ever wondered: what does it mean to exist? Saw this on a friend's msn nick, though not in her exact words. According to her, she thinks that thought of is a meaningful existence. Your existence is in another person's mind.

An interesting topic to debate about. For me, I definitely agree with what she has said. But on the other hand, I think that this topic is subject to different perceptions lah. Workaholic and ambitious people may think that achieving, achieving and achieving is a meaningful existence. They live for the future.  Country clubs, cars, condos, cash... they will literally slog their guts out to get them. As long as they can live in luxury and brag to people that they have that iPhone or they can frequent the California fitness gym, they will damn well do it. No wonder IMH never closes down. But I wonder, they work so hard for these material goods, but are they happy? Yes, they may be happy for a short period of time, but soon they will be chasing their newfound desires again. Unless they change, they will just be slaves to their own whims and desires.

Then there are the sentimental people. These are the type who loves staring at past photographs and reminiscing about old times to friends. It's therapeutic to do that once in a while. Bonding and thinking back about good times helps you to get away from reality and relieve stress. These are the people who, like my friend, will place emotional feelings first, above all things.

Then there are the people who will treasure the "now" moment. They do not place so much emphasis on the future or on the past, but will treasure the wind caressing their face and the tasty lunch that they are enjoying RIGHT NOW. "Don't worry, be happy" is the best phrase to describe them. But among all my friends and the people I know, people that treasure the present are few and far between. Because basically, humans are the sort that treasure stuff right after that "stuff" is no longer theirs. Funny, isn't it?

To me, I think we should live our lives in moderation. Too much of anything is never beneficial. And also, life will not be lived to the fullest if we keep on studying, playing or working...NON STOP. But ultimately, no one perception is correct and the others dismissed. Each person is entitled to his or her own opinion. What really matters is that people start thinking about this and get down to living their lives as they think it.

So, think about it.

What are we living for?
What are YOU, living for?

Sigh...waiting for my friend to come back from submitting her assignment. And typing this post while I'm waiting.
My feet hurts. A lot. Imagine sitting down for four hours straight for Speech Comm assignment which SUCKS. I hate doing speeches. Period. At least this one's better. I have my group mates for support. Hahas. Strength in numbers. Sigh. After the consultation for the assignment tomorrow, I'll have to send out the surveys and collate the responses. Double sigh.
Well, at least there's CO to look forward to today! Laughing and poking fun at all the zhongruan-ists and pipa-ists. I'll never forget each CO session! And lao shi (sorry guys, i don't like calling him "sir") is always so nice:) He NEVER scolds us. At least he doesn't do it such that you feel it is a personal attack. And all the seniors are such great ppl! CO is such a great home to go to:DDD

Now I'm alone. My friend has gone off for her fencing CCA. Jiayous to all:)
P.S. Good luck Naomi for your DPA today. Really really really hope you can get into Mass Comm!
